There’s a moment where every production reaches an inflection point of stress. Where the budget, deadlines, location requirements and client request all hit at once and you wonder how you’ll get through the next minute let alone finish your day.
And yet - thanks to your trusted crew and collaborators, you finish your day. That night, you’ll think of that moment of stress and enter a fit of uncontrollable laughter laughter because you remember you’re lucky enough to get paid to be a filmmaker and be around wonderful talented artists.
And a few weeks later that moment of stress because an exaggerated 3-act structure that you tell junior producers you’re training.
Until the next production comes, and you’ve hit that inflection point of stress again.
Rinse and repeat. Hire great crews and fight to pay them fairly.
